Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre offers innovative new fitness systemThe MNjcc is proud to introduce the new GRAVITYSystem(TM) this week, giving club members a chance to experience Group Strength Training, Pilates, Personal Training on the innovative GTS(TM)equipment. Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre has joined the growing movement of health clubs offering the new gravity-based training system by efi Sports Medicine. The GRAVITYSystem is designed to deliver quick, efficient and effective workouts while expanding program variety and member access. "This innovative equipment is gravity-based and integrates beautifully with Pilates and the other strength training programs at the MNjcc," said Tonya Faganely, Director of Group Exercise and Personal Training, MNjcc. "The unique features of GTS will allow the MNjcc trainers to provide group workouts with individual results and members interested in Pilates can now get functional top-notch training at every skill level." MNjcc Senior Personal Trainer, Colin Blayney, said, "The benefits of using the GTS transfer to conventional resistance training by teaching the body's muscles to contract more fully. It's virtually impossible not to achieve extremely high quality muscle contractions on the GTS." Colin has started working with some of his clients on the GTS including Roberta Albert who has been working with Colin for five months. "I find the GTS both fun and challenging. I can get a full body workout with emphasis on my primary goals of flexibility, posture and stamina within half an hour and still feel energetic at the finish. I work hard but the work is satisfying and within my ability", said Roberta. http://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/archive/September2005/09/c7827.html TORONTO, Sept. 9, 2005 |
